Family Coastal Escape Hot Tub, Cinema & Games Room

The house was comfortable, large with plenty of space, clean, our pooch loved the large garden. The welcome pack was a nice touch.

A few things were a little tired, which I suppose is to be expected with the amount of different people who stay there and the quick turn around of guests. A few things didn't work, like the hot tub, the jukebox and gym equipment, we couldn't get the cinema to work either but that might be our inability. There was a room full of dvds but no dvd player. I mean non of this affected our stay to be honest.

We turned up with 3 children and a dog after a 3 hour drive, the property was already occupied by other people, the owner and booking.com left us 3 hours from home, at night with no Accomodation. Disgusting and inhumane.

The host did not answers any of my calls, email or messages whatsoever. The address is difficult to find with no instructions luckily we found someone to help guide us or we would've been stranded with nowhere to stay after our 8hr trip. I did trying calling host with no answer. The house is basically in the middle of a caravan park, I would imagine it would be noisy in busy months. There is a long list of faults: 2 broken hot tubs Broken table tennis that is a danger hazard especially with children it fell on my child's foot My child got locked in the bathroom Fridge Freezer was broken No instructions how to use anything Tumble dryer faulty Dirty old cooking equipment / utensils had to buy my own to cook False advertisement as the pictures show a gym with loads of equipment but there is only 2 old broken machines Half the radiators not working Broken handles on windows and toilet Cinema room the projector not working Beds old uncomfortable lumpy mattress and in one room the bed is about to break Broken greenhouse outside with glass lying on the grass Dirty bbq x2 Garden unkept Ripped sofa in the kitchen Juke box only works on radio Water machine broken No outside lights at the back where hot tub is False advertisement as the pictures online are nothing like the actual place My list could keep going on... Whole house needing TLC as it's run down and dirty in certain areas, mould in bathrooms, dirty carpets list could keep going on. The pictures shown on advertisement for this property are not true. My most concern and upset is what of there was a emergency when we stayed we had nobody to help or speak to as the host didn't answer my calls or messages, didn't even bother getting back to me after I left a message saying I had issues. Please read the reviews from the other guests who have stayed as they are saying the same thing about the property and host.

Great location. House and gardens were spacious. Bedrooms lovely and airy and there’s abundant storage.

Some parts of property were a bit tired and needing some TLC. Both showers were mouldy. One of the reasons we booked was for the hot tub however this was not working. I contacted the owner to say their was an error showing and was told they would send someone out to have a look which didnt happen. Looking at previous review the hot tub was not working then either. Would have appreciated some honesty that the tub is out of order and they are unable to fix at present rather than being fobbed off.
