I’m trying to get a refund because the host asked me to pay £350 in to their private bank account for potential damages. This is clearly a scam so I would like a refund please.

The property is in disarray holes in the walls curtain rails hanging by a nail literally can’t open the curtains or close them this is from the property owner himself dirty bedding outdated furniture broken television remotes that being said the bathroom was very clean that was the only highlight but let me get to the real truth these guys are a bunch of scammers never in my history of using booking.com have I had my deposit taken or deducted or partially refunded due to allegedly smoking in the building (i am a non smoker) I also video evidenced the apartment prior to entering and when leaving to prove my claims that anything left in the apartment has been fraudulently placed there by the team jq headquarters upon releasing this footage I have no response from them as they know I am in the right and they have committed fraud so guys if you want to lose money and have a poor evening indoors this is the place to choose believe me I aim taking This complaint to the highest place possible I shall not lose out on hard earned money due to lies and deceit

Where do I start. The heating didn’t work in the living room. The sofa provided felt like it was going to break very cheap quality. There was a stain on it too. The tiny rug in the living room looks like it has been there for years, matted and dirty. There was cobwebs on walls and ceilings. The bed and bedding was cheap and poor quality. There was extra pillows in the wardrobe but no pillow cases. The bedding was cheap asda bedding which has a massive discoloured stain on it. The bathtub had dust on it. The seller told me I had inconvenienced her for paying my deposit late as she had no reception. To top it all off, The seller demanded a review for my deposit to apparently be “automatically released”. That’s £350 she held ransom all day trying to make out as if this is how the system is set up in order to be refunded the deposit. Rubbish quality everything waste of £70 and she tried to hold my money. So here is her review she was so desperate for. I had to contact customer services who said she is not allowed to ask for a review and hold my deposit. When I told her this information, she tried to TELL me I should not use the customer services for excuses. The worst experience of a stay I have ever had.
