Lovely little pub downstairs, staff were friendly. Bed was comfy

The bathroom was incredibly dated and the room in general had a lot of wear and tear and needs updated decoration.

"Would stay again."

There was information saying the rooms would be upgraded later in the year, which was reflected in the price. In the centre of Ambleside for meeting up with family. Great to have own entrance, if you didn't want to go through bar.

Only thing, we were below the owners room & could here them talking & moving about, but it wasn't an issue when we put earplugs in, and it wasn't for long.
