The friendly couple. Quaintness of cottage. Welcome pack was very useful. Husband brought an extra welcome pack due to kitchen lights fusing. A very thoughtful addition. Surrounding area was lovely and less busy than we thought.

Cottage was almost directly onto busy road. Since it was very hot on our visit windows needed to be left open. We had not anticipated how awkward the spiral two flights of stairs would be from ground. The allotted car parking space was a bit impractical for our car, but we managed to get around issue by speaking to other residents.

"Perfect Base"

The house itself is lovely and the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. The hamper was a lovely touch which we very much appreciated. Thank you. People have mentioned the car park space being tight but as we are in a mini we didn't have that issue. Also people have mentioned the stairs being steep, in fact our stairs in our Victorian terrace are steeper!

The heat but that wasn't the fault of the house or the owner! And in fact a very welcome fan was provided.

Location

A little tired… Kitchen area absolutely fine Lounge area fine too, not the most comfortable of sofas Bathroom was disappointing, difficult to have a relaxing bath as drawn to all the raw plugs/ sealant/ grouting/broken picture frame/paint splash marks over toilet pan Bedrooms was okay, comfortable bed, tv would be nice Garden area not strimmed or very tidy

Location. Walks closeby. Great village pubs and also on the bus route to travel further afield without using the car. Victoria was really helpful and prompt with her responses.

As others have said the stairs are steep. Ok if you are fit with no mobility issues.

Cute little cottage - lovely village with excellent local pub - appreciated thoughtful essentials basket

Not a dislike really but the stairs are a challenge - this is pointed out at time of booking - squeaky bed
