Marianne Suites El Nido

Quite big rooms with 2 balconies, breakfast ok but could be a lot better, location is nice, very close to El Nido Market and Town Square, small parking in front as well, gym on the 2nd floor, TV with youtube premium

Swimming pool wasn't open, personnel are not cleaning the rooms properly (no mop at all unless you ask a few times , not enough small towels or toilet paper, they also throw your clothes on the dirty floor, small ants all the time in the room including on beds/pillows). The tall pretty lady at reception also tried to scam us on laundry. First asked 560 PHP which I paid, after collecting the clothes one guy next to her probably forgot that I paid and he said "300 PHP sir" amd I made them give me the extra money back. You leave the sign on the door to have the room cleaned and towels changed but nobody cleans it unless you have a go at someone at reception. Unbelievable for the price you pay. WiFi on the voucher is only available for 3 days then you have to go and ask for another voucher with different password. In other words, welcome back to 1995.

The location was nice, and the AC were really great with comfy beds.

The amount of negatives outweighs how nice this hotel could be. 1. The smell smells of damp and mold 2. The customer service were friendly but they are severely lacking in professionalism and management skills. We arrived at past 9PM on our check in day and I originally booked a king size bed room. Upon arrival, I was notified I was downgraded to a double room and I was promised a discount by the front staff. I asked for a price and I was told I can pay tomorrow and they will tell me. Tomorrow comes and I come to the front and Bea was now the agent and told me that there was a ‘system error’ and they needed to move us and she will let me know the price of my stay after our tour. I asked if it was necessary, and she told us yes and that the staff will transfer our things. I was disappointed because we were already unpacked but I was told I had no choice. After the tour, I came back and inquired about our new rate for our stay and I was told they are willing to deduct 500PHP and that they have upgraded us to a family room with no extra cost! First, I consented to a downgraded room with discounted pricing and I was ‘upgraded’ without telling me. All I was told was I am being moved. So I tried to settled. 500PHP is ridiculous discount to be downgraded and be inconveniently moved, so I said, usually, Im supposed to get the downgraded rate for the stay as other hotels would do but I can settle for 1000PHP . the front staff told me that they are going to ask their manager and I’ll have to come back the next day because their manager is in Puerto Prinsesa and they have to wait for them to respond. To sum up this ridiculous experience, at check out they gave me 800PHP discount. I paid 12,200PHP for my 3 night stay here. On top of that, we purchased water the first day and they had a sign that it was 50PHP for a bottle and they upped it to 70PHP the second day! Loved El Nido will come back, but not to this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience!The room was clean, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable.The hotel staff was friendly, and the location was convenient.

The staff is very friendly. The location is very good. The view from the room is alsoo good. Room no. 505. The bed is very comfortable. There is no smell in the room, the air conditioning is great.

The slope of the floor in the shower is not suitable, so the water leaks out, but there was a bathtub in the room, we used it, it was perfect and for a while there was hot water with high pressure. No fridge and safe in the room.

We arrived and there was no room for us. They brought us to a Hotel that was way under the standard what we was looking for. Guess that's a kinda scam to fill the other Hotel. We wasn't the only one who had that experience. They brought many other guests to this Hotel on that way. We even had to pay more like it was on booking.com for the Hotel we didn't want to be.

Close to downtown

The bathroom has mold, and there's no soap or shampoo provided. We brought our own, but there's no holder in the shower to place them. Breakfast is supposed to start at 6am, but it's consistently delayed by around 20 minutes, which disrupts our schedule. Once, we went to the breakfast area at 6:05am, and the lights were still off. The employees just stared at us and didn't say anything until we asked.

Location is very good, easy access by walk to all the hustle and bustle of the main town. We signed up 2 tours, so it's very convient to the meeting point by walk every morning. There are many restaurants and gift shops in town, also can be reached by walk. The laundry service just crossed the street from the hotel are very useful. The small balcony with seaview is a plus. The bed is quite comfortable.

The breakfast can be improved, the AC is toward the face, and can't be adjustable with the right angle.
