"relaxing boutique hotel"

9.0

Such a pretty boutique hotel with lush vegetation, hammock for each room, AC, large bathroom. The swimming pool was awesome. location was in the jungle, quiet but 10 min to Palenque centre and 10 min to the ruins by taxi. They offer breakfast at extra cost and have a couple of menus to get food delivered for dinner

Breakfast is over priced. the food delivery for dinner is not great and there is no options for lunch. It took over an hour to get our order and the food is really average. given the location (out of town) and the quality of the hotel, this needs to be improved. A couple of restaurants are nearby but it's very touristy and / or expensive. We had to ask for more towels (we were 4 but only got given 2)

"Bad"

1.0

Nothing. Very bad hotel, in bad shape and bad customer service. there was nothing really good about it, except the location, near Palenque

Nothing at all, price does not match to cleanness of property, not the size of the room, Not good connection of internet.

"We enjoyed a lovely relaxing time in our jungle home."

9.0

The hotel is in the jungle. It is very relaxing to sit in the pool listening to the frogs and insects. We also saw and heard a troop of monkeys high in the trees. It was quite lovely.

The property is fabulous and we have no negative comments.

"Perfect romantic getaway"

10.0

Fantastic setting, from the reception area palapa to the surrounding jungle. Exceptional feature is the troop of howler monkeys that call the trees above the property home! Beautiful decor and ambience, plus excellent service.

No in-house dinner option, yet reception able to easily arrange delivery from nearby restaurants.

The place is really cool, the bath outside every room is super.

The bed sheets weren’t clean, we found a lot of insects in the room and there was a small opening at the bottom of the door which left room for bigger insects to come in. Considering it’s in the middle of a jungle, this is something we wished to avoid. Not enough bath salts and shampoos were provided for the bath outside and the water was also cold. The pool was dirty when we got there. Staff members although nice and helpful didn’t know any English so it made it hard to communicate.

Fantastic location, you can look right into the jungle from the terrace of the room. Every room is its own small building with private terrace and jacuzzi. It is quite big but with almost no furniture (e.g. no chairs). The openness adds to the jungle feeling. The shower was the best one I had in Mexico. Plenty of space, good pressure on the water, the cold water is cold and the hot water is hot. And very nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in cute little jars.

Just small little nits; the fan control of the airco unit in our room didn't work, it was always on maximum, so very noisy. The breakfast is quite expensive for simple toast with jam and fruits. It's a bit too far from town to go in foot to a restaurant, so you always have to take car out taxi - the jungle Maya next door is a bit meh.
