Had everything we needed and host went above and beyond and left coffee and biscuits

The location was great, it’s a short drive to the beach and there is LIDL, Tesco a stones throw away. We also had a day out in Lancaster, it was about 10 minutes drive and then we did the park and ride into the city. We were given a large bucket outside that my dog enjoyed in the hot weather. There’s lots of beds, there was only 3 of us but could have easily slept 3-4 more people, which would have made it even better value for money.

I wasn’t given clear instructions for my arrival, I had to go to reception for a map as I hadn’t been sent instructions on how to find the property (the site is huge). There was a very strong foul smell coming from the kitchen so I didn’t feel comfortable to cook anything, the weather was hot so we had cold food and ate out. I tried to clean it but the smell persisted and I did leave a night early.

Lovely clean caravan. Its situated on a lovely site with in walking distance to Morecambe.

The beds were very comfortable.

We found alot of unclean areas of the caravan. Including the shower living space and fridge There was a funky smell under the sink and the fridge smell awful. I told mags Den and she thinks I'm being rude. I was just being honest. Also have photos to prove this. She did give us 20 pound becuse there was no hot water until we spent 3 hrs in the caravan while the boiler man attended on the day before we came home. I am a honest person and id not lie.

The holiday park and pool

We had no hot water all the time of our stay caravan was not clean and smelled of damp and dirt

It was comfortable and had what was needed

There were no hot water for shower or washing up as the boiler was faulty and never got sorted out while I was there and all I heard was people banging around in the caravans till early hours

Park its self was fine, it was a smaller park, best booking in advance for activities. The caravan had parking next to it. Came with cooker etc.

The caravan was abit worn and older no heating in rooms, which I get but one heater didnt work, and 1 extension lead didn't work. The cleanliness wasn't the best there was a oil type substance everywhere. It was almost like the same cloth had been used everywhere the kitchen. Lounge, tv, bathroom and had to be cleaned when I arrived. Humidifier everywhere and air fresheners which I understand, but some where overflowing. Tv had bad signal which can't be helped had to fix the wire going into the tv as it came loose and was told on the day there was no WiFi new one been ordered which can't be helped if it broke that day but still frustrating when your only told on the morning of the booking and having to then download films etc for 2 kids.
