Hot tub hideaway

Was decent basic but okay

No essential ect fridge and what not nothing of that sort or kitchen sort

I didn't like anything. False advertising

Owner denanded an additional £250 on the day of checkin (in addition to what I already paid to rent the company) before he would give provide the access code to the property and would return the money once we leave. This was not advertised and a surprise on arrival. Since leaving, the owner is unavailable when I called and non-responsive to text messages. Any person interested in using this property, AVOID!!! or risk having the owner stealing £250 of your hard earned money.

The only a positive note I have is the guy seemed nice and he called a handyman who fixed the hot tub eventually (we did not use) but it didn't take us long to realise we were being scammed. I really wish I looked at reviews before booking, so I hope this review will help somebody before they get scammed.

As other reviewers have experienced, your unlikely to receive your £250 deposit back. I had to jump through hoops before I finally did. This was after contacting booking.com and sending multiple message to the non-responsive host. This alone should be enough to put anybody off. However, I can honestly say, it’s the worst place I have stayed and I felt really uncomfortable. I wanted to abandon our stay but we had young kids and the city’s hotels were fully booked due to the local football game. - It’s basically a small extension on the side of a house in a busy neighbourhood. -The hot tub is located in a small shed – I was told it was broken when I arrived. -Decor missing or damaged. -Damp water marks on the ceiling. -The walls were really dirty with marks and flaking paint. -Broken floor tiles. -Dust and hair everywhere. -Shower and bathroom cupboard was disgusting. -Advertised as two doubles - my kids had to share a small sofa bed. -Sofa bed covered in stains and dirt. -Rubbish found behind sofa bed from previous guests. Obviously he doesn't hire cleaners!

Very clean and well kept. Everything worked smoothly.. shower has nice hot water. Bed was comfortable. Didn't spend a whole lot of time here but definitely made the most of the hot tub which seemed well maintained and clean. The area where we stayed was very quite.

Nothing i didnt like however was surprised when we pulled up to an housing estate as this was unexpected. Maybe some blinds on the skylight above the bed

A cute and accommodating environment, private out the way. Close to so many restaurants.

Very unresponsive—didn't pick up calls and then took ages to respond to text messages. It took around 30 minutes for him to respond to my initial call/message. Communication was absolutely poor. During checkout I sent the provider pictures and informed him I had locked everything up, turned off all electrics and left the key in the key safe. I also asked when I would receive my deposit back, but I did not get a response for a couple of days. I allowed time for the provider to inspect for any damage to the room, and I have been chasing him since for my £250 deposit. The only information I received was that there is a problem with his bank, there was a funeral, and he would refund the deposit once the issue is resolved. That was a few days ago lol. I am left with no choice to report him to booking.com
