GBI loved the simplicity of the layout and the quirkiness of it. The wash facilities were very clean and just what was needed after a 32 mile hike!

GBThe complementary crumpets and butter as well as milk, tea and coffee were a nice touch. The place was spotless. The double bed was comfortable. The decor is largely recycled materials - very clever and quite stunning. Really good location in Matlock. Excellent folder provided in the room, full of useful information on places to go, restaurants etc. Aroma Indian Restaurant about 6 minutes away for a fantastic meal!
I hadn't realised the toilet and shower room were across a small open courtyard from the 'room', which was a bit cold when going for a wee in the middle of the night! The duvet on the double bed was warm, but wasn't really big enough to keep us both well covered through the night.
