Great location - near city centre but quiet residential area. Good facilities , clean & everything we needed

Steep steps but handrail was useful

It was a wonderful stay! The host was very welcoming and even gave us a bottle of wine as a greeting. The location is great, with easy access to attractions near York. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The house was well equipped and decorated well with in easy access to York city centre

The house was cold and there was no control over the heating. You had to message someone to turn it up or down

Fabulous location. Great communication re door key code. The info book was very useful and appreciated. Everything was well thought out and we had a great stay. The bubbly and chocolates awaiting us on arrival was a really welcoming touch!

The only thing that could have been better was that one of the single beds in the twin room was pretty uncomfortable but we've experienced much worse elsewhere!

Great location. Everywhere within walking distance. Nice little house on quiet road. Included everything we needed, with a bottle of prosecco waiting for us when we arrived, which was a nice gesture.

Quite noisy with crying children next door & someone doing DIY which sounded like they were about to drill through the celing of downstairs bedroom. . Downstairs bedroom was cold & en suite did not have sufficient heating. Only towel rail. My mother was cold but stairs were too steep for her to use upstairs bedroom. The heating was controlled remotely by owner. So could not adjust. Towels & bedding were new but had not been washed so towels left lint & did not dry properly & bedding was scratchy polyester, had to call owner as we were not given hand or tea towels. Owner very pleasant & came straight away to give us towels & adjust the heating. He did mention he had just taken over but towels & linen should have been washed before use.

The house had evetything we needed, it was clean and well maintained. The location was excellent, just a short walk into the town centre.
