The Experience Resort-Lake Facing

The location is amazing! Aside from the great lakeview during breakfast and in some of the rooms it is walkable to all of the major sights. It is also well decorated. with amazing prints for around udaipor. This place is very well managed. The staff , all of them are amazing and very hospitable. They always make sure you have the very best holiday by helping us with our itinerary, arranging cars from and to the airport. The housekeeper who have a very pleasant personality is cleaning that place to the max. The bed is so crisp and comfortable. I love the chef aside from being amazing at what he does( all the food were amazing) He is so friendly and hospitable. I didnt get their names but all of the staff i met always have a ready smile, hospitable and caring. Thank you guys! We missed you! We are in varanasi and the staff are nothing compared to you guys.

All the staff were exceptional! Nothing too much and helpful to the uttermost! Very no nonsense and practical support.Wonderful vegetarian food and a cook who took great pride in his work.Location in old town at lake ideal to be in a peaceful spot , but yet in the midst of everything.we loved the drumming and chanting in the morning, setting the tone to a new day

Central location is handy and it has nice views of the water. Room was nice and spacious. However, the breakfast was poor and the bar next door plays very loud music from 7 - 10pm. You would never use the pool as it's exposed and the hotel is right next to a main road so it's very noisy and not relaxing. For the price you would expect much more.

The manager Kalpana and the chef were excellent and most helpful. All the staff are polite and very helpful. The chef prepared delicious omelettes and parathas for breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable.

The property is located in the dense portion of the old city and many cars refuse to pick up or drop off here which makes getting around difficult unless you walk or take a three wheeler. There is a lot of noise from surrounding temples and restaurants with loud music though it stops by 10:30pm. Unlike other bathrooms, I had a bathroom only with curtains separating the toilet from the shower and from the sink so everything got wet. There was also an unfinished wall in my bathroom.

Really central and such a great find. Would definitely return. All the staff were so helpful. Had a great room overlooking the lake.

Nothing - it was just what described!

Lovely setting and the hotel is a nice retreat from the busy street outside. Staff was helpful and kind and lake view was very pleasant. The location is excellent as many places are within a short walk from the hotel.

Although NO FAULT of The Experience Resort, a place with amplified live music has moved next door, which is quite loud until 10 or 1015pm. I hope this can be resolved, since the hotel has such lovely and calm vibes otherwise.

It wasn’t worth what we paid which was nearly €180 a night. The WiFi didn’t work very well, music from the restaurant was left on all night that I could hear from my room, sheets had a hole in, breakfast was ok but nothing special. The stay was fine but not at that price
