Single room with beautiful garden

Great hosts superb room and facilities. Breakfast was brilliant. Easy to find and great public transport link very close by

My stay with Karen and John was wonderful for the week that I was in Edinburgh for a conference. They were there for a lovely chat over a delicious breakfast each morning and in the evening upon returning from a long day at the conference. They did their absolute best to make me feel welcome as much as they could and are a very kind and welcoming couple. The room was suitable and cozy and the private, recently renovated bathroom was more than suitable for me. It was easy to get into the town centre using the double decker 16 bus and I had no issues coming home up to 10:30pm in the evening. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Parking was available on the drive

Karen was so welcoming. Just wonderful. I had just flown into Scotland & was so tired. She couldn’t have made me more welcome .

Handy location on south side of city. Very quiet suburban street away from main road. Easy parking and short walk to frequent bus service to city centre (25-30 min to Princes St, runs to late pm). Very comfortable bed, cosy room with spotlessly clean, well-equipped bathroom across landing for sole use of guest. Nice to have tea/coffee facility in room. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. They provided an excellent breakfast with generous portions which set me up very well for a long drive south - as did the location - pretty much on the right road in/out of town if heading from/to M74/M6. Excellent value too. Highly recommended. Thanks folks!

i had such a lovely time, I felt like a home away from home and was so well looked after my Karen, I wish I could have stayed a few more days! Lovely breakfast and cute dog Toby xx
