"Right in the heart but with quiet accommodation"

It was right in the heart of old area of York. Had a lift which gave us easy access to front entrance straight out to hustle and bustle of the city, but the accommodation is set back in the building so very quiet. One minor issue we had upon arrival was quickly rectified by host.

Back entrance stairs to 1st floor from rear car park was a little difficult for 4 senior adults.

Location Location Location, max 10 mins walk from nearly everything. The place is spotless and well maintained, well done cleaning team. The place is huge plenty of room. The shower to die for. Lol

Going out for food is no problem as restaurants everywhere But be prepared for higher prices for eating out.

The location was excellent, and the apartment was very spacious and comfortable.

Really nothing to complain about overall the apartment was lovely and decorated to a high standard. If I was to be picky, there were only minor things like changing the light in the en suite that was flickering and replacing the battery in the clock in the lounge that wasn't working.

We have stayed here before. The location could not be better. We have a problem walking a distance.The beds are very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. TV is excellent. Cooker, washing machine and dishwasher all that you would need. Showers are first class.

The picture shows a black 3 seater settee. The apartment has 2 2 seater settees. Although the cleaning is spot on. The apartment could do with a fresh lick of paint and the carpet cleaned. Also, the stool in the on-suite. None of this hindered our stay. We will book again.

"An excellent base, very helpful hosts."

Parking was easy to access and secure, even allowed us to use parking space a few hours longer after check out. Overall the apartment was very comfortable, location excellent.

Bathrooms needed a little maintenance, extractor fan not working, shower head replacing, minor problems.
