We stay in the property several times a year and we feel that the lack of attention to cleanliness has declined,we arrived the flat was cold no heating had been left on ;hand towel in master bathroom was stained ;bottom sheet on single bed had a huge hole in it ;dirty laundry bag was on the bathroom floor not what you would expect from a high end luxury apartment. Also couldn’t get any heating to work in the master bedroom which is a problem as my wife has a disability.

So clean and airy, comfortable and cosy.

Great clean, large comfortable apartment in a perfect location. Also, a bonus of free parking within the city walls. Can't recommend this apartment enough if visiting York.

So suprised at how huge the property was, right in the heart of York, comfy beds en-suite everything you’d want. Super easy check in too - definitely book the cat cafe opposite!

We've stayed in Hunter House before, albeit in a different apartment. This one is fabulous. Large, clean, well furnished. As a couple, having two bedrooms means that my wife and her extensive wardrobe could take over the main bedroom and I could put my clothes in the spare room. Having two bathrooms is also super convenient. The apartment is right in the centre of the old town and is literally no more than one minutes walk to Low Petergate. Having car parking is an absolute bonus. The car park is easy to access, as well as being secure and directly behind the building. (One point to mention, we drive a low, 5 metre long car, and actually manoeuvring into the car park, through the gates was a bit of a tight fit). A real find, in the centre of York, we can't recommend this highly enough.

In the interest of balance, just one thing we did struggle with, was the bed. It's just a double, rather than king size. Neither of us could be called "porky", but I am 6ft, and found the bed too small for a comfortable nights sleep.

Very spacious and conveniently located, near to everything!

We thought the apartment was very well equipped and 2 bathrooms were lovely. The apartment is right in the heart of York which for us was perfect. It was spacious and definitely could house 4 adults easily. Instructions to get there were perfect and easy to follow. Great to have the parking space too included in the price.

When we first arrived the heating was on which was lovely being a December break. The heating in the bedrooms however didn't seem to work (or was very low) so the bedrooms were alittle chilly. Also because there are blinds in the bedroom over the windows i could constantly see the light at the side of the blind. Curtains i feel would have been better and warmer.
