6 Hunter House - Heart of The City With Free onsite Parking

Excellent location. Between the Minster & the shambles. Every tourist attraction was accessible, even with a wheel chair. Very comfortable & well equipped. Comfy beds & plenty of hot water for a relaxing bath after a day of sight-seeing. Parking space a massive plus point in the middle of the city.

Nothing was not to like. One small improvement would be nice big bath towels.

The location is great all amenities in short walking distance which is great for my wife who has a life time health problem .We visit york at least twice a year and always try to book hunters house .

Main bedroom heater not on and looking through the flat documents which are there for people to read this has been noted as afire hazard and has been advised this heater be moved to a different wall ,it would’ve good to see if this advise is followed as the master bedroom is cooled .

Excellent place - very spacious absolutely perfect location and car parking ideal for city centre. All check in instructions well communicated. Highly recommended

Our type of holiday, key pads and door safes, nobody fussing around us.The key safe outside the apartment needs sorting it took a while to open and to leave the keys on our departure took ages. A tiny problem if annoying. We adored the silence at night right in the middle of York, part view of the minster , yet as quiet as at home and we live in a field. Leaving the apartment from the front door was amazing we were in the centre of York, so vibrant, this could not be bettered. We are already thinking of returning next year, a super stay. I took my own knives and never used, the kitchen was really well thought out and we nearly stole your knife sharpener.

We left a message for your cleaning crew, the shower room fan and we believe the other fans are not working. This means the bathroom was wet all day and the shower cills and the window frames are getting mouldy. Needs sorting before you get any serious problems to your amazing apartment. We disliked leaving.

Great size apartment best location and service excellent

Perfect location right in the centre of York. Food shopping, restaurants and attractions were literally just outside the front door. Parking was easy and very close to the apartment. Everything inside was clean, comfortable and as advertised and the location of the apartment, facing away from Goodramgate meant that nights were quiet. We had a very comfortable stay.

Needed a little bit of redecoration to reach a top score! Hot water needed a boost when staying with a family of four. Also the info in the welcome folder was a bit outdated. All minor points.
