Nice location quiet and relaxing

It was at least in a good area around a lot of activities

It was dirty, smelled horrible as soon as we entered all we could smell was cigarette and it was definitely not what was advertised online

I was very skeptical about booking this apartment because of some of the reviews i have read, however the whole process was easy, the shop you collect your keys from is literally around the corner, i would say a 4-5 minute drive. The car park is so secure and i felt comfortable leaving my car there as i could see it from my balcony. Once i walked into the apartment i was blown away by how clean and spacious it was. I had an ensuite and there was another bathroom so gives you the option for a shower or bath which was great. Massive mirrors to get ready and the beds were a good size and so comfortable, i literally had the best sleep. The kitchen had every appliance you need and the lounge was comfortable. I was really shocked as i didnt expect it to be that good- totally worth the money. Please dont go by some of the bad reviews on here as my experience was really good, the host replied to me really quickly and coming from London i was really glad that i was literally round the corner from Bullring shopping centre and there was so many different food restaurants around and a tesco express round the corner which was easy to walk to.

The property was quite damaged when we got in, the walls had chips on and chunks out of the skirting boards, some radiators didnt work, the hob was chipped, there was trash left on top of the cupboards, there were used and unused condom wrappers under the beds as well as a nitrous oxide canister. the window in the twin room was broken, the freezer drawers were smashed. Most of all we couldnt use the pull out bed as the framse was destroyed and bent which wouldnt support a person or fold oput properly and be straight. the shower seemed to only have scorching hot as a temperature and there was black mould growing in the twin room with lots of water damade. Thedressers were covered in a pink stain that had leaked to the drawers below. There were holes in the beds and the door handles were broken too.

broken lift, cooker extractor did not work properly as the filters are blocked. shower controls broken so the shower was too hot to use.

Unfortunately there wasn't much I liked about the stay. From Customer Service, to the apartment it was the worst stay I've had in ages. I've been brought up if I can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all but I need to warn others.

To be honest, everything. The host's communication was terrible, there was no electricity in the property for hours on arrival and my calls were being ignored. Majority of the pictures online aren't even of the flat and the ones that were are years old. No mention of the noise level we would experience with the club that is situated outside the flat with kick out after 4am. Cleanliness wasn't great - something very sticky and suspicious down the bedside table. The flat was in what I can only describe as a student block - not the luxurious stay adverted. The door to the flat was loose, so when in the dark before they sorted the electricity (no money in the meter) I felt really unsafe. Smoke alarm removed, electrical inspection seems to be 4 years out of date, couldn't see a CO2 monitor. Overall not worth 10% of what I paid for. Completely catfished. Zero communication from the host since. Do not recommend

The only acceptable factor of this apartment was the location, is was right in the centre of Birmingham city. Apart from that the stay was horrendous! Not another single satisfactory element to it.

Everything about the apartment was grotesque. From the large brown damp stains on the ceiling to the brown stains embedded in the carpet. The apartment was no where up to a satisfactory standard. Brown and white textured stains on the curtains, brown splotchy stains on the carpet, every single furniture item in the apartment was broken. The two wardrobes, 3 bedside tables, dishwasher cabinet, shower head, shower door, door window in living room, dinning table looked worse for wear as if it had been picked up off the street corner. The bedsheets were riddled with brown stains, absolutely disgusting, it made my guests and I skins crawl. There was paint peeling off the walls all over the apartment, from the ceiling to the skirting boards, if there were skirting boards as they were missing. Additionally. missing door handles???? That is poor accessibility. The bedroom doors were stiff as the flooring was not fitted properly and in line with the doors. The sealant in the bathroom was rotten and clearly sealed over, not even smoothed out properly. The lack hot water made my guest and I sick, having to wait 40 minuets for the boiler to heat 5 minuets of water, and having 6 guests?? The kitchen cabinets did not have a soft close system, which lead to constant banging, as the hinges had zero resistance. There was empty water bottles left in drawers, that was yet to be cleared. White stains dripping down the front of the couch, there was just no where to sit comfortably and feel a sense of cleanliness. Under the cooker hood was filthy and grimy with oil splatter, clearly not cleaned. There were missing lights in the ceiling lights, and 1 kept flickering, we could not rest! The house was completely filthy! I would not recommend the apartment to anyone. Please do not waste your money, as it was not cheap! £113 per person with a £400 deposit.

The host was very attentive about making sure we found the place and tried to get the shower fixed. The location is great and is perfect for 4 people.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find the place in a state of disrepair with a noticeable unpleasant odor. The discovery that one shower was non-functional, and the other was blocked, added to our dismay. Although the host attempted to address the issue promptly, the maintenance man's rudeness and lack of assistance left much to be desired. We were told another person would arrive, causing a significant disruption to our plans for the short 1.5-day stay. The subsequent revelation that the repair was a larger job than anticipated raises concerns about the property's pre-check condition. With some improvements, this could be a charming place, but our experience highlighted the need for attention to these issues. Additionally we paid extra to have a nicer apartment and this was not the case.
