AUAUThe beds were comfortable. Pizzas are quite nice snd the bar has a nice atmosphere. The owner is nice and explains everything nicely when you first arrive. Does the job for a cheaper accomodation booked quite late.
It‘s stuck in a time warp. Could do with some painting and new carpets. Not sure what other properties are like and cost in the area to compare. If comparing to other places in Tokyo, I think it is pricy for what you get, mainly because of the state of repair. Also said there was parking available. I had to park further down the road.

The property is run down, with trash everywhere and old, disgusting carpets. The WiFi barely worked and the rooms were so small we couldn’t even open our suitcases. This place is completely falsely advertised. It was so bad we had to leave after one day (had planned to stay 6 nights) and go find somewhere else to stay. It is more of a run down hostel than a lodge or hotel. Beware.

CAThe staff made our stay memorable. Graeme was so kind in driving us to the Happo ski resort and to the Happo bus terminal. We got a much bigger room, which was a lovely surprise. Comfortable beds! The location of the resort is perfect - walking distance to Happo One ski resort, restaurants, and less than 30 steps to a bus stop. Breakfast was convenient, and the pizza/bar/restaurant onsite is exactly what you want after a long, tiring day of snow activities.

Rooms are a bit musty and the building is a bit run down but you get what you pay for and it was fine for what we needed it for.
NZThe breakfast was healthy and nutritious. Fresh milk and cereals etc. I enjoyed the thick slices of toast with jam.
USRooms were decently sized, gear storage room was useful, good amount of amenities within the building, and the staff were fantastic. The bar downstairs (especially the pizza and chuhais) and restaurant upstairs were great! Decently close to major bus stops as well.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were barebones, but expected and on par with that expected from a basic lodge. The room definitely got too hot overnight even on low heat settings, but it was manageable.
HKGraeme was wonderful and super friendly. He went the extra mile to help me look for my lost phone, much appreciated! Overall a great stay and location is great and convenient with nearby bus stops connecting to all the Hakuba ski resorts. The pizza restaurant and bar at the basement is tasty and convenient.
