Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

The surroundings were incredible of course. The welcome was very professional, as were the staff we came into contact with . Our evening meal was ‘ complicated’ and although we enjoyed our main course and desert, the starter was pretty awful. Breakfast was outstanding , but a 9.30 end is a little early in my opinion.

No air conditioning which if I’d realised we wouldn’t have booked , so my error, considering the nightly rate. In many ways the bathroom in particular was very very tired .

Lift broken and long way from room to car park. Didn’t like the decor in the dining room.

Room was very spacious comfortable and well equipped Room had lovely view and location of hotel was excellent The on site restaurant was excellent with great service The swimming pool was convenient and well maintained by staff

The lift to the room was out of action - 1 floor only so not too bad but those on floor above may have been affected to a greater degree. The on site restaurant was very good but extremely pricey - we had to eat off site second night because of this

Restaurant very expressed with limited choice but food you had was very good

Location was great. Nice pool. Lovely walk from hotel around lake.

Room was very small compared to pics. Window behind bed which was rubbish. Bathroom mouldy. Restaurant terrible and overpriced.
