Excellent staff and good food

Excellent location. We stayed in the Windsor suite which was great for our group.

Cleaning could have been better eg dead flies on windowsills, dirty hand marks over doors. One room had an annoying hum. Breakfast was disappointing for the assumed standard of the hotel. Very 3 star buffet. Improved a little on the last day when management were visiting!

The spa treatments were good but got changed I booked a lymphatic massage and got a bamboo massage which was a bit painful. However the masseur was good and eased off. Location great

Mosquitos invading the bathroom dropping on the sink via the bathroom light even with windows closed- the food it blossom was not good at all uncooked fish batter that was very yellow deep fried chips and overdone peas as with limited basic breakfast eggs overdone and black - to be told it's pepper when it had been cooked and been sitting there a while.

Location was great and the grounds were very good.

Restaraunt had practically nothing in terms of choice. The first 5 dishes I ordered were not available. Then at breakfast, I offered to pay for a premium Coffee as they had a very good coffee machine. I asked if the barista knew what he was doing and I was simply told yes of course. What turned up was basically a cup of water. A 10k machine, with no ability to use it it’s pretty pointless.

It is a beautiful setting and kept pristene. All the staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant.

We are not particularly fit and so found the hilly terrain difficult. Plus it was extremely hot.
