Just finished our stay at Holy tree cottage and we loved every second. We stayed as a group of 7 and found the home beautiful and the location perfect! The cows were some personal favourites. Being 20ish minutes away from newcastle made planning activities easy. Communication with the owner was prompt, very helpful and generous. Outstanding experience :)

"The perfect cosy cottage!"

The house is a fantastic size for a family getaway, and is very cosy in the winter evenings. It was lovely waking up to the view of the Mournes out the back windows - absolutely beautiful! And the secure front garden was great for the dog. There were so many little touches that made the place feel so homey including the Christmas decoration and little basket of goodies left for us in the kitchen. Would love to come again!

For city people like us the lane up to the house was a bit bumpy but was totally worth it when we got to the house!
