We had a fantastic stay at Joville Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which truly made our trip extra special. The upgraded room had a stunning view that included the monorail — such a unique and memorable touch! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Some of the staff had limited English proficiency, which occasionally made communication a bit challenging. However, they were always polite, patient, and eager to help, and we appreciated their efforts to assist us despite the language barrier.

We arrived early in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, thinking to drop our bags and wait until the rain eased to explore the town. Thankfully, the manager allowed us free early access to our room. I had requested a quiet room, and in most cases it would have been, but to get to the room down the elevator, then down a set of wet stairs and then up another set of wet stairs to our ground floor room that was very noisy with the sound of the rain hitting the ground outside was not ideal. The front annex at pool level we stayed in would be difficult/impossible for anyone with mobility issues. A ramp needs to connect the elevator level to the accommodation level, Location was good to access central Sapa, once the rain stopped - a 10-minute walk to cafes and shopping. The view across the valley was lovely and the train went right by our room. Breakfast options were good. Generally a good stay.

Access down and up steps to reach our room in the rain. The pool - others have asked when it will be fixed - our take is that it's a huge job! The pool has been undermined by a slip, it's not an easy fix at all. Also, it looks like it's only about 50=-75cm deep, it's NOT a swimming pool at all. Quite a firm/hard bed, seems the norm in Vietnam.

The hotel was well situated near the heart of town. Its location provided the best views of the mountains and the funicular that takes you to the cable car station. Breakfast was adequate with an egg station, noodle station and other breakfast staples. Our room was quite large and spacious which had a balcony and great views towards the mountains and the valley. Finally, a shout out to Elvy. She was exemplary in assisting us with transport and motor bike hire and very responsive on WhatsApp.

There are street dogs around the area that can get noisy at night. It was only a concern for us as we left the windows open at night. Once closed its fine. Many of the staff don't speak English.

Excellent location overlooking the fansipan furnicular. Very refreshing time

The swimming pool is under renovation due to typhoon and therefore we were not able to swim. Still the perfect place to stay
