JOVILLE HOTEL SAPA

We had a lovely stay at Joville Hotel in Sa Pa. One of the highlights was the amazing view of the funicular train heading up to Fansipan—a charming sight right from the hotel. The room was spacious, and we really appreciated the strong water pressure and consistently hot showers. Wi-Fi was also reliable, which was a plus. Another great point is that the hotel is within walking distance to the center of Sa Pa, making it convenient to explore the area on foot. They also offer paid shuttle services to key spots like the Lao Cai train station, which can be really handy if you're moving around the region. Above all, the owners and staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating. For the price, it’s excellent value compared to other places in the area. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay in Sa Pa.

There are just a couple of things to note (though these weren't deal breakers for us). If you opt for breakfast, it's available, though the selection is a bit limited—still, what’s offered is good and satisfying. Also, during our stay, the pool was closed due to ongoing construction, so something to check ahead if that’s a priority for you.

The hotel has great views of the mountains and the train. It's very worth it if you want to take a lot of pictures with a view. The staff are very nice and accommodating as well. The room itself is clean. There is a hot shower, and the bed has a heater too, which is very important to me as a person who is not used to cold places. Breakfast is a buffet. They upgraded my room for a minimal surcharge. They let me leave my luggage when I check out since I still want to stroll around Sapa Town while waiting for my sleeper bus in the evening. It's very worth it of stay.

The room was clean

The pool wasn’t open and we found it it hadn’t been for the last 2 years. This is something that should really have been stated. Also NONE of the rooms have a Mountain View besides 1 which is the massive family room so don’t belive the lie.the staff were rude and lazy and tried to chip us for more money at every opportunity, they upped the prices of the laundry and the drinks as well as tricking us to upgrade our room to one with a better view but it was the same?

This hotel is not right in town but it is not much of a walk. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Dogs were a problem at night with their barking and there was some industrial noise that we could hear from our room.

the staff are all very friendly.. the view of funicular train is right outside my room! location is good , breakfast has variaty of option.. staff can speak english and will give you a good vibe.. the room i got has been upgraded for 500k vnd with terrace and panorama view .. we went during dec and its cold heater couldnt really make room too warm as it was so big. . swimming pool is under renovation..room has netflix and youtube great specially for family with small kids.. FUNICULAR TRAIN will pass by right in front of the hotel almst every 15-20mins so you dont have to spend time eating at few hotels that get too famous because of the view 🤣.. will be back there again next time. never had thought that at very reasonable price me and my family will have the great experience ..

the scent of the room too strong for asthmatic like me and my daughter... scent is a good scent pls dont get confused 😅

Not PWD friendly. No separate shower. It was super difficult and inconvenient to take a bath.
