Lovely Guest House

Absolutely nothing. Unfortunately the property owners made the experience absolutely awful, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO STAY at the “Lovely Guest House” and needed to find something else after 6h journey due to “the room being trashed” the night before. Owners DID NOT make us aware of this, even though they had my email, number and of course here, on Booking.com. Booking.com also confirmed they have not heard from the owner either. Booking.com is NOT at fault, costumer service was really helpful and thank goodness we are receiving some money back.

I called the owners when I wasn’t able to get in due to the wrong code, they didn’t answer the phone and messaged me saying “please text me”…. So the communication is absolutely minimal as I was not able to speak to them. I asked how we should get in and they answered with something along the lines of “we messaged you on Booking.com asking you to cancel your booking as the room is trashed”. (Baring in mind if you cancel the booking and not the property themselves THEY get to keep the money.) I explained I had no communication from them at all, it’s 9:30pm, we are currently after a 6h drive, what are we supposed to do? And the owner said to call booking.com. No apology, no call, no responses when called, no further explanation, they are more than happy to leave people on the street when they feel like it. Absolutely horrible experience and people with no heart. Please be careful when booking. (Also, no parking/you’ll be lucky if you get to park on the road.)

After viewing the property, I did not stay there overnight. The place was dirty, there was no heating and problem with opening the door. Used beddings and general mess everywhere. Do not recommend.

Scam !

Be careful it's scam! I pay for a night and when I was to check-in no bady was there . I try many times to get in touch with the owner on the telephone number wich was provided and no bady answered, on message also!

Disgusting. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

It was dirty, the door didn’t fit the frame, the door was damage as the lock was difficult to open and had clearly been kicked in, then the handle came off in my hand. The tv was on the floor underneath the bracket and not in working order, the walls were damp with water running down the INSIDE of the room and dirty water dripping from the ceiling. Completely uninhabitable.
