"Experience never to be repeated"

4.0

Position in quiet village with two good pubs just yards away with decent food. Good parking space right next to property Play area for children with 5 minutes walk

VERY poor standard of cleaning throughout. Needs deep clean Bedding poor, no mattress protector, weird shower cubical in main bedroom leaked out onto surrounding carpet. Towels dirty and stained. Bin with no bin liner or lid Very over priced for what is provided. Owner made aware WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

"Better than a campsite glad it was only for 1 night I wouldn’t stay here again"

6.0

It had parking and the kitchen facilities were nice

The shower in the bedroom which we couldn’t tell from the pictures, the sink in the toilet was way too small to brush teeth and wash face and with out a bathroom this was really needed, so had to use the utility sink. There were no mattress covers provided for the sofa bed and the cleaners need to be changed as there was toothpaste splashes on the toilet mirror, spiders on the windowsills and in the utiiity room ceiling, a layer of dust on the furnishings and it didn’t feel clean the property.

"A lovely stay at a great price point!"

8.0

Lovely apartment in a really beautiful location. 2 local pubs nearby, we went to The Druid for food and it was exceptional. Apartment was clean, tidy and living area was very spacious. Bedroom was great and bed was comfy! Free parking.

Only 2 towels left despite the booking being for 3 people, and no spares anywhere in the accommodation. Sofa bed was not comfy, but was fine for one night at a good price point. The shower was in the bedroom behind a curtain - we worked around it, but was just not expecting it! Otherwise a perfect stay!

Great location, great local pub (The Druid, the Red Lion wasn't open). Pretty comfortable accommodation apart from the bed and a strangely placed shower in the bedroom when it could easily be in the mostly disused room off the kitchen. Cleaning routine not carried out (see below).

So to kick of we received no welcome information upon arrival. We stood outside the property for 30 minutes unable to open the door because we had not recieved a key safe code. After a while by chance, the owner turned up. He informed me rather curtly that a message/email had been sent and that it "was showing that it had been sent". This was definitely not the case. No apology just a slightly disbelieving and condescending attitude given. Then he asked us to move our car, ok, fair enough. "That information was also in the email" he informed us, (The email we didn't receive!). There was no information within the property re how to contact the owner or key safe code so as we had only been told this code verbally and he did not make any effort to give us this properly we had to leave the property with the key in the unlocked safe. Very unusual. The place itself is ok, its spacious, but oddly laid out. The cleaning routine is obviously unsatisfactory.... other people's food left in the fridge and other people's old sponge etc left in the shower... unacceptable. There are plenty of better options for the outlay.
