We needed a place in Southampton for one night prior to a Princess Cruise. I saw Pebbles on line for $40 USD a night and thought, why not? It went way beyond expectations. Short Uber drive (9 pound) from bus station, clean, very friendly staff who carried our bags all the way up two floor, large room, clean WC, comfortable bed. Within walking distance to many places for a quick bite. I will stay there again and highly recommend it as a great place to save, save, save!

The GH is located less than a mile north of Southampton Central Railway Station, and is easily found. The location was ideal for my purposes. The free Wi-Fi was much appreciated.

The building is not very attractive, and the decoration basic and functional. The PGH seemed to be more of a hostel, or a House of Multiple Occupancy, rather than one which offers the traditional services associated with a guest house. The room did not contain a television set, although this may well have been mentioned in the facilities available. The most disappointing aspect of the room in which I stayed was the remarkably constant noise from water pipes, and from what I assume was the water tank, positioned immediately the other side of the single bed's headboard. The noise continued throughout the night, which was not only distracting, but rather puzzling.

The location was great for us and the Staff were all smiling happy people , and very helpful .

Just a little iron and tv or radio would have been a nice touch .

The landlord has given me a bonus 1 hour on request. he is very prompt. I recommend the hospitality
