Good outside appearance with plenty of parking Spacious rooms Tea/coffee, hot chocolate facilities Ensuite in bedroom. We were in room 5 Set back a little so no noise. Good communication with owners Continental breakfast was fantastic!!

Didn't see anyone from arriving to leaving. I think we were the only ones in the building which was a little creepy. However it was adequate fir a short break away...

The living room and breakfast area were lovely & smelt nice. Complimentary breakfast was ok. Beds were very comfy. Harriet was lovely who I spoke with on the phone.Good communication throughout booking process. Family rooms- Room 4 was more modern then room 8(loft). Thanks for a pleasant stay, its good value for money based on a family of 4 but it didn't meet my expectations based on the images provided on here & cleanliness issues.

The corridors didn't smell pleasant upon arrival (musty). Coffee trays were dirty & cups still had tea rings inside them from previous guests. Alot of things in room 8 were not clean, the bathroom was in a bad state with a rusty toilet brush & mouldy walls(pic provided). There was alot of ripped wallpaper (from kids most probably) and the sky light blind doesn't open properly or at all. Used tissues in bed side drawer. Room 4 could definitely benefit from blackout curtains(pic provided) Both rooms were cold in the evening/night, I think they may have the heating on in the day only? to which i was cold in bed so had to put another cover on top which helped. All this can be easily rectified to make it a perfect stay, hope my review helps with improving the hotel.

Location was good very central, room was very clean.

Great location, great value for money, a little home from home stay. I can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t eat here but everything else was perfectly fine. We definitely will be booking here again.

Only problem I had. Was no shower gel and shampoo in dispensers. But I did have spare with me so no big deal.
