Lochranza Country Inn

The location of this property is stunning. Our room overlooked the waterfront and the castle. The room was comfortable, the en-suite modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of choices. The evening meal was equally as good as breakfast. Staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Parking was off road, adjacent to the property. The hotel is very close to the Lochranza ferry terminal.

Gorgeous quiet stay! This Inn has such charm, it’s a wonderful choice for Lochranza! The staff were all so helpful and friendly, answering questions about bus service and sharing their local expertise. We could see the castle ruins from our window! The pub below had delicious food, and local brews on tap. The distillery is about a mile away, such a great experience!

It was the best accommodation I've ever had. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the bar was busy with excellent food being served. Breakfast was a good continental, Planning on returning for a leisure break..

Staff very friendly. Lochranza Castle, ferry terminal and whisky distillery all within walking distance. Area very quiet. Great atmosphere in the pub early evening.

Room was a little tired and TV very small. Not a major problem and would be happy to be stay again.

Beautiful location opposite the castle. Had a picnic whilst watching the sun go down. Ideal for anyone wanting to do a whisky tour and sample some whisky as part of it! A real community feel to the place too.

I would say that the hotel is basic- a step up from a hostel. As long as you are happy with this, it is a fantastic community led hotel!
