Burlington West hotel

Location was really good, easy to find and get to. Free parking. Staff were really friendly.

We wasn’t expecting much for the price but was expecting a bit more. Bog standard room, however the lights were extremely bright like LEDs which when going to toilet on a night felt like a deer caught in headlights. The bathroom looked like it could do with a re-seal and a really good deep clean. Every-time the room next door went to the bathroom their bathroom light lit up our room and you can hear everything, every time someone flushed, walked, spoke. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night which someone set off (can’t be helped not disputing accidents happen) but after that trying to get back to sleep there was someone who worked at the hotel and a resident having a full blown conversation outside our room at half past 1 in the morning regarding a TV remote this could have been done in the reception area. The mattresses are not very comfortable so we didn’t have a great nights sleep. The continental breakfast was in the price of the hotel and there is a great selection but there are posters up regarding the actual price but for the selection I wouldn’t pay that price when you can pay that and a little extra in some hotels and you can get a full cooked breakfast, there is only an hour slot for breakfast too. There was no one on reception to speak to when we left, we just posted the keys in the drop box and left. We paid £94 for the night and really don’t think it was worth the money.

The bar and breakfast areas are lovely, it was clean and spacious. The entrance is really inviting - they are currently renovating parts of it but that doesn’t interfere with your stay. It’s in a good location- over the road from the beach, in a nice part where you are away from the big hustle bustle of the main piers. Short walk to the pleasure beach and sandcastles. Tram stop just a short walk. Staff were friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you! Rooms clean and tidy, house keeping everyday if needed. Would definitely return!! See you next year! Room 32 ☺️

The rooms where nice and clean and exactly what we wanted. The staff leah and shelley where absolutely amazing 👏 we had the best 2 nights and such a laugh, would 1000% recommend and we will be back next year

The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.got a free breakfast which is given on weekends only. Was a bonus.

The bed was uncomfortable, so we didn't get much sleep. It's quite away from everything. So be prepared to have a fair walk to the tower. Trams are not very regular.
