Private beach, with some rooms offering their own direct access. A huge swimming pool for such a small number of guests (only 20 rooms). Plenty of staff, everything very clean, and food of high quality. Friendly staff (Anita and Leonard are lovely and welcoming). They made a good-bye special breakfast at the beach which was beautiful.

This hotel misses some small details that would make it truly exceptional. For example: there’s no hair conditioner in the shower, no cotton buds or make-up removal pads, and no easily accessible snacks or food variety between meals despite the all-inclusive plan. The selection of drinks is also quite limited (just a couple of wines, always the same — a rotation would be nice). Housekeeping times were inconsistent (sometimes early morning, sometimes afternoon), and excursions offered through the hotel were more expensive than average for the same service. Not much entertainment in the hotel — just one pool table (with damaged cues) and a chess set. No board games or other similar activities available.

Nice layout. Compact but just right for a relaxing quiet stay. Big pool and plenty of sun beds and loungers around the pool and in front of the beach - no need to rush out and put your towels down. My wife had a massage which was excellent and pretty good value too! Evening entertainment on a couple of night we were there was very good - traditional music, singing and dance was especially good.

The food could do with a bit of work. Some foods were excellent but a couple during our 4 nights there were okay - with a limited menu I would expect better.

The location is right on the beach with a beautiful private area created for guests. The staff is friendly and attentive with a great level of service. The food was phenomenal and freshly made. Everyone made so much effort to help me relax, and care for me as a solo traveller. Anita, the guest relations manager was wonderful!!!

Ein ruhiges kleines Resort auf hohem Niveau - sehr gut geeignet für Paare zwischen 25 und 99, die keinen Wert auf Animation etc. legen. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal und sehr gästeorientierte Leitung. Sehr gepflegte und wunderschöne Gestaltung der Außenanlagen. Kleine zweigeschossige Gebäude mit je 4 Einheiten und ein paar Strand-Bungalows. Großer Pool - auch zum Schwimmen geeignet. Das Meer ist bei Flut mit Badeschuhen zum Baden geeignet, aber nicht zum Schwimmen. Kleine Poolbar - Drinks und frisch gepresste Säfte sind sehr gut. Restaurant a la Card - das hat Vor- und Nachteile. Die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen ist sehr hoch und die Auswahl ist Mittags und Abends abwechslungsreich. Am Besten haben uns die Fischgerichte gefallen. Besonders gefallen haben uns auch die kleinen Extras wie die täglichen Fruchtspieße am Pool und das romantische Frühstück zu zweit am Strand. Zum Abendessen gab es alle 2 Tage Live-Musik. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlendes Resort, das sich aus der Masse der Angebote deutlich heraushebt.

Das sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Die Matratzen sind etwas hart, aber das hatten wir auch in anderen Unterkünften auf Sansibar so. Die Speisekarte zum Frühstück kann man vereinfachen, gute Auswahl ist gegeben, aber natürlich ist das Angebot morgens täglich gleich. Die Live-Veranstaltungen abends waren gut. Allerdings sollte darüber nachgedacht werden, die Veranstaltungen vom Abendessen etwas zu entkoppeln, da man beim Essen nicht ganz so gut den Darbietungen folgen kann. Schön wäre es auch, ab und zu mal Tanzveranstaltungen mit aktueller Musik für die Gäste an der Poolbar anzubieten. Wir haben gemerkt, dass das bei Gästen und Personal gut ankommt. Der angebotene Shuttletransfer ist bis zu 200% teurer, als selbst gebuchte Transfers, hier könnte man noch optimieren. Aber wie gesagt, das sind nur kleine Dinge, die den Gesamteindruck nicht schmälern.
