Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr schön zurecht gemacht und wurde auch ständig nachgefüllt. Die Größe der Zimmer war super.

Leider waren die Flure alle noch im Umbau. Daher lagen Planen aus (Rutschgefahr). Das hatte ein bisschen Baustellenflair. Als unsere kleine Gruppe abends noch im Gemeinschaftsraum zusammensaß und ein eigenes kleines "Tröpfchen" trinken wollte, wurden wir freundlich aber bestimmt hinausgebeten. Hausregel ist halt Hausregel.

I booked two rooms for two nights. My sister didn’t have hot water for any of her four showers even though the staff said they were aware of a problem it wasn’t fixed. They just didn’t seem to care really. Her window wouldn’t open either because it’s been painted shut. You have to walk miles to get to your room and struggling luggage through the many fire doors is impossible. Some rooms get bottled water some don’t. House keeping visited after the first night. They adjusted the bedding a bit but not much and took away the fan!! Why would we need a fan on one night and not the next. Completely ridiculous! No cleaning. One bin emptied but not the other.

It was a hot day and the heating was on full making the room very hot and uncomfortable.

Being charged 50 pounds for n reason, being returned , taken in error

Recently refurbished, excellent breakfast, particularly the sliced haggis.

Although recently refurbished the rooms needed small refinements, bathroom had no towel rail or hooks so the floor was the only option. Also the spacious bedroom could be improved by the addition of a coffee table by the chairs.

Hotel being updated, my room was new which was great, staff also friendly

Evening meal was extremely poor and barely edible but breakfast was totally different and very good.
