"Breath taking, we will be back with the kids next time"

8.0

Absolutely stunning, the website doesn’t do justice to the experience of the entire farm. If you looking for a place to switch off it’s the perfect getaway.

Would have loved aircon in the rooms with +30 temperature it got very hot, however night swims did help to cool down.

"I would definitely go again? The old world charm is magic."

7.0

It is a beautiful estate with lots of charm.

The Rietdakkies cottage was beautiful from the inside but needs serious upkeep on the outside. None of the patio doors could open, the window frames are in a bad condition and the outside deck needs to be replaced as the wood is in a really bad condition.

"Accomodation NOT up to standard, much needed rewamp-tired and outdated."

5.0

The location its gardens and victorian feel but accomdation is very tired and outdated. Definitely general maimtanance is lacking.

We were there for my sons wedding 28th December 2024, From checkin we did not have a great experience..The checkin was delayed as rooms was not ready only availahle 3 hours later. A long wait especially after driving that far. Roms was not cleant properly, lots of cobwebs and crawlies everywhere. Love the rustic look but the entire accomodations Rietdakkies, Oude Pasorie and stablerooms requires and very much needed rewamp, very tired and outdated, general mantainance is visably lacking.Appliances are very old especially in Oude Pastorie kitchen. Stove very old solid plated which takes longer to heat up.Fridge was leaking all weekend. No eleftric kettle for making a quick coffee. Wooden window frames and doors rotting and windows had cracks and therefor spiderwebs everywhere as bugs had free access. Montellier's most definitely is missing the Wow factor and paying attention to detail must be key to create a better stay and experience. Our expectation for our son wedding was definitely not met. When we came to view venue we were not granted access to any other accomodation except the Manor House which was a bit misleading.Regards Shana Jacobs (mother of the groom)

"Lovely location, but unit needs attention"

5.0

Beautiful location. Exceptionally friendly staff. Lovely farm with huge potential. Amazing wine tasting and excellent food at the restaurant

The unit is tired. The mattress in the main bedroom is in serious need of replacement. The drains in the shower and basin were clogged. It was impossible to open the doors onto the stoep. The curtain rails are loose and fell down - whacking one of us on the head. Unit needs attention.
