Hotel Express Newcastle Gateshead

Proximity to my place of employment and the facilities available in Gateshead/ Newcastle.

Rather sharp exit from the car park heading to work and at times ability to get into the car park.

It was great. Staff were really lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The lady who makes breakfast was so sweet and always had a massive smile on a morning and a good conversation. Her alone would bring you back to the property. Breakfast was good and bed was comfy. It wasn’t noisy at all. The second night we stayed we were in the room right next to reception and didn’t hear a peep. Also great help if you don’t know Newcastle. They will tell you whats to do, what’s where and how to get there. Very friendly

We stayed 2 nights and the first night the room we were in the shower didn’t work. We had a different room the second night and all was fine. They did take money off the bill for the first night as an apology for the shower.

It was absolutely minging the bed was dirty the taxi driver said it is used as a sex house and he wasn't wrong! There was food on the stairs left to rot the whole time we were there the carpet was disgusting and the bathroom was even worse the shower didnt close properly at all and the bed wasnt even a double bed for 2 people!

Great value for money staff were very welcome and friendly

The room we had was great had 3 single beds for the 3 off us still plenty of room. The cook was great if you didn't want a full breakfast she would have made you poached egg was just right the staff was amazing.

Nothing to like!

Unsafe and dangerous and not as described or pictured at all. People accessing the room from outside of the building and reception refused to move or help us. Leaving the hotel for safety reasons and the hotel still requested full payment and additional parking charges were added as we arrived! Not a hotel but a half way house and drug drop in place for those who are not concerned about safety or cleanliness of their rooms, vile and disgusting conditions in the room as pictured.
