Its attachment to the pub and the views from the bedroom are fantastic.

location was great as we wanted to do some walking. The evening meal we had was excellent and in itself made up for some of the problems outlined below. The breakfast was also excellent

Since I booked the room, prices had risen (considerably) hence the room we were given was one which matched the price we had paid. Very small and no view. To get more space and a view, I had to pay and additional 50% over the original price. I have no problem with owners putting up prices but they should stick to deals done before guests arrive. Alternatively I could have been contacted and told in advance so that I had the option to make other arrangements

Great location. Wonderful food. Very special steaks. Staff were very friendly.

Main towels were a bit small

All of the staff were so friendly and its in a stunning location. The food was absolutely amazing

The rooms are too basic for the price point. Rooms/ bathroom and landings carpet need a bit of TLC

There were only 2 pillows on the king bed. Meaning 1 pillow each for me and my partner

Evening meal was very good. As a restaurant the food all seemed very good.

The rooms really aren't up to much. Dated and poorly finished. I use better towels at home for our dog than the towels we were supplied for our overnight stay. The restaurant where we ate our evening meal was freezing. Even though there was an open fire that could have been used to warm the area and give it more of a cosy feel, it wasn't lit. The lighting was also terrible, in our room and in the restaurant area

Nice clean, comfortable room. Dog friendly. Exceptional evening meal and breakfast. Great staff.
