"Was an awful experience and will not use Booking.com again."

Becuase the unit was managed by private owners the staff could not assist us to check-in. The unit had faulty lights, Aircon was not working, no shampoo or soap, no dishwashing liquid. Coffee sachets was supplied, but no creamer or milk. The iron was in such a bad shape that I could't iron my shirt.

The apartment was in a nice building, good location. There was a bathtub, which was nice

The floors were not very clean. The couch was too dirty to sit on. The bedding was not clean. The bathtub was traded for the shower.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the accommodation experience we recently had at The Regency Aparthotel booked via Booking.com. Our booking included seven rooms for 14 guests, with a requested check-in time of 14:00, which was ignored. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that the rooms were not managed directly by the hotel but by separate owners — a crucial detail that was never communicated during the booking process. Despite several attempts to contact the owner upon arrival, our calls went unanswered until we eventually received a call back, during which we were told that someone would bring the keys to reception. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, we were informed that only three of the seven rooms were ready. The rest were still being cleaned — at 15:57, almost an hour past the standard check-in time of 15:00. This delay left 14 guests sharing 3 rooms to get ready for a function, making us late and significantly inconvenienced. When I raised my concerns at the time, I was assured that 50% of the total amount would be refunded due to the inconvenience. As of today, no refund has been received. To make matters worse: Four couples had no rooms available to use before our function. We asked if we could at least use the rooms temporarily while cleaning continued afterward, which was reluctantly agreed to. Three keys were not provided and were promised to be given when we returned from our function. Upon our return, room numbers had been changed, and we were given keys to a room that was already occupied by other guests — a serious breach of security and professionalism. Contacting the owner again was difficult and required more time and effort on our part to resolve. This entire experience was unacceptable and poorly managed, and I am extremely disappointed that such a listing is still active on Booking.com.
