The bed was comfortable. The house smelt good and clean. The hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was good, we had a lot of options to choose from. Thanks again!!

"Ideal stopover between Penrith and Carlisle."

The hosts Dave and Gill went out of their way to make me welcome. Nothing would be too much bother. Dave offered to drive me to the nearest pub to get a meal. Gill, unprompted, very kindly offered a packed lunch for my next day's walking. The accommodation was ideal with a lounge area with sofa for chilling out.

I could not find any fault.

"Lovely nights stay en route to Scotland"

A self contained annex, with all the facilities needed for a comfortable nights stay. A nice assortment of food and drink for supper and a continental breakfast. Very comfortable bed and a decent shower. Highly recommended.
