Location was good for exploring the city.

Apartment wasn't what we booked. Not enough beds for 3 people, had to bunk in with my kids. Front door lock to building was broken, so didn't feel very secure the 1st 2 night. Lots of things broken in the apartment, wall heaters, blinds, oven and washing machine, didn't function properly and no instructions. Check in was confusing, sent to wrong apartment so had to lug heavy bags round the building searching. Reported lack of beds, bedding, broken heater, plumbing issues to owner 1st night though didn't get fixed. A bit grotty, not properly cleaned or maintained. Doesn't look like photos on advert.

The interior of the flat was nice and probably exceeded our expectation based on the pictures etc. The location was good and central to explore Liverpool.

The communication was poor and we had to call the host a number of times on arrival - they were perfectly friendly when they did arrive. There was no toilet paper or toiletries provided (as advertised) and no tea or coffee - to say it was basic therefore is an understatement. The internal court yard was noisy and we were woken early both days with parties coming back. It was a slog getting up to the apartment and wouldn't recommend it to anyone with physical or mobility issues.

Very hot as no windows had openings, no water pressure in the shower so was a dribble to shower with. The apartment was on the top floor so some very steep internals stairs to navigate, after two large normal staircases!

Apartment was clean

We had only ONE key between 4 of us for the weekend, one of the girls stayed behind while we went out with us locking the door as we left. The fire alarm proceeded to go off for 15 minute with no way out bare the window she had to climb out lucky she is skinny & can fit out it. Leaving her black & blue with serious amount off cuts & cutting our night short having to go back to let her back in with the apartment key. Going forward I would suggest leaving more then one key out & also in the description please make guests aware that there are a lot off stairs up to your facilities.

It’s close proximity to the centre without the noise and crowds. We were able to keep our bags in our rooms for longer as we had a late afternoon flight. The outside building is beautiful. However inside not so much.

The windows don’t open, there was a ‘fusty, dirty’ smell, someone had vomited at the bottom of the stairwell (I appreciate that is not the owners fault), there was no tea towel and no plug in the kitchen sink. No full length mirror and no hair dryer. The mirror in bedroom high up and smaller people not able to see in it. No bath mat. Does have potential but for renting for short stays, more attention to detail is a necessity.

Room was ok and price ok

If it wasn’t for the cleaner outside I’m unsure how we would have even got in, or got keys, we had no instructions on how to get them and no reception area when we walked in the door we were hanging around for age and until see saw someone outside who happened to be the cleaner
