The location is great by the lake with a nice view on the sleeping warrior and Soysambu reserve.

The access road is in very bad shape. You need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The food is very basic for a 4 star hotel. The room which we booked was not ready when we arrived in the afternoon.

The environment was conducive.

The dinner ambience could have been better with some music , band , Dj or pianist

All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The level of service provided by the team was truly exceptional. I especially appreciated that the managers personally greeted guests and took the time to inquire about our needs and the quality of the services provided. This attention to detail made our stay even more memorable.

I did not like the payment method. i travelled with a resident but had to pay as two foreigners. There was no method to counter this as the payment scheme is a trap. I think Booking . com should be correct. I suspect it will come back with "I told you so" excuse. I will try to use other companies in the future and warn people of this scam

Stay away from this place. They will trick you with the word "Fullboard" or "Free of Charge" or "Buffet" but do not believe them!!! Do not say "yes" when they ask or offer something for you even drinking water. It's a trap!!! You always need to pay extra and extra. The road to this hotel may ruin your car. In October, it's very rare to see flamingoes or any kinds of birds here. The food is not delicious in every meal during I stay. Room is so so. Staff is ok but the management team in this hotel lack of service mind. One more thing, do not celebrete your special ocasion here. The hotel said the dinner party can not start before 7 p.m. They say It's not too dark to see the beautiful lake view at that time. In real, you can't see any lake view with many tons of insects come in to your table, chairs, plates, glasses. You need to pay more for the table near by the lake (3,000 Ksh/pp) even the same food that you already paid for the fullboard. While we were eating dinner at the party. The hotel asked the kids what kind of drink do you like. They will make a special mocktail for the birthday boys and cocktail for mama & papa. The way they talk like doing for us as a birthday complementary. However all the drinks I have to pay extra, even a bottel of water at 300 ksh. They never inform us again. The situation of the insect on the table got worse without helping of hotel staff. We decided to eat as fast as we can without birthday cake time. Cake is 2,500 ksh!! That's why there's only a few customers stay here. It's nightmare!!! This is my truely review from the real experience. I will not trust SENTRIM brand anymore.

Nice grounds, large room, good shower, buffet food was nice.

My booking said I had a lake view, but the room I was taken to did not, so I had to ask to change it. The hotel tried to charge me quite a bit more than the booking-com fee stated so I also had to challenge that, which was embarrassing. I was disappointed that the only flamingoes were a very long way away. To see them near up you have to get transport and guide from a park gate. The flies in the restaurant and all around were terrible, though I gather this is only for 2 months of the year.
