Macondo Tulum

Exactelly what we wanted. Self catered, small apartment block. Not too busy. In quite new build hotel zone, felt safe and no barking dogs at night. Pool was a good size and never too busy. We stayed in the two bed apartment on ground level so we just opened our sliding door and had it literally two steps away. All nice and tidy around the pool and the apartment itself was nice and clean.

Just few things you might want to know. There is construction going on right next door so it can be noisy during the day at the pool. ( construction is going on pretty much everywhere) Some of the reception staff didn’t speak any English so communication was difficult at times. We had power cut on busy morning when all trying to get ready for a dive day which made things really difficult. ( power cuts are unfortunately quite normal in whole of Tulum) The kitchen wasn’t well equipped especially when you are planning to cook a lot and for 4 people at the time. We asked for extra pots and pans but were told they just did not have any. Also some drinking water at least on arrival would be highly appreciated.

Great Appartment.Pool in front of the terrace.Clean and modern.6 to 7 people can stay in one appartment.Nice staff.Parking in front of the building.Quiet at night.There was even a washing maschine in the appartment.

No kitchen towel to dry dishes.

Ulises, from reception, was very attentive and efficient. The place looks very modern and clean The beds and pillows were comfortable Very spacious apartment 24 hours reception!

Lack of kitchen utensils and paper. Shower heads could use an upgrade. The state of some roads in the area is delusional. People and dogs barking at night is common in Mexico...

It was easily reachable in walking distance from the bus station tulum not only did it have enough room for everyone, it even had a pool and there is a 7/11 store that is a 3’ walk from the property!

Seemed to be missing a few things like soap, kitchen rags. There is some debris in the common areas that could easily be cleaned up. As well as some garbage near the pool area that wasn’t picked up in the 5 days we were there.

The building, cleaness, kindness of reception

Strong noise in the morning as there were works in progress right next the building

Clean and well maintained apartment.

The location was not near to many facilities.

Very clean and great staff.
