Ophelia Experience

There was no breakfast available at our location... and the unit was Good except that we only had 2 small frying pans and a very small pot... which made cooking anything very difficult... So we purchased a medium sized pot and a Microwave container with a lid that we could make a lot of stuff in the microwave with, we also purchased a Large bowl with a Strainer that could be used for salads /or chips etc...plus a few extra small towels to dry dishes with and some extra scrubby pads -All of which we left there for the next tenants to enjoy.

See above + Had a great time, may visit again some day outside of the seaweed season, because that really sucked.

-the first room they gave me smelled so bad (mould), that i had to change it. That was no problem, i immediately got another room -the next day in the morning i realized, that there is barely water coming out of the shower and only cold water -Alejandra from Ophelia told me, that they are going to fix that. They didn't. I asked the day after and didn't even get a response from that moment -the whole complex was built poorly, like most houses on the peninsula. Its falling apart. I was there two years ago and it was in a much better condition

Großer Pool und nette Gastgeberin

Der Pool wurde nicht so oft gereinigt 🙈

Acomodação confortavel, quarto bonito e com cozinha equipada. O predio em si é otimo, a piscina é ampla e a academia mais ou menos, da pra virar.

A localização é boa, central mas para chegar é horroroso! Rua péssima, na pericsria do bairro, não é asfaltada, cheia de buracos e sem iluminação. Não indico para mulheres que viagem sozinhas, não é nada seguro.

la struttura è molto bella, immersa nel verde, perciò silenziosa. La piscina è molto ampia e la zona annessa, con divani, tavoli, sdraio di legno, veramente di buon gusto. Eravamo già stati da Ophelia nel 2025

Dopo un anno, senza accurata manutenzione, gli appartamenti cominciano a mostrare problemi: la cassetta di sicurezza era rotta, una delle lampade accanto al letto pure...Ma quello che proprio non ci è piaciuto è stata l'assistenza. Inesistente. Ora la reception non è più presidiata. Si accede con lockbox all'unità che viene comunicata 24 ore prima mediante un contatto WhatsApp, attivo dal lunedì al venerdì in orario 9-18 e il sabato mezza giornata. Se c'è qualche problema fuori orario....te lo tieni. Inoltre noi avevamo prenotato un appartamento al primo piano, scegliendolo qualche mese prima tra quelli disponibili. Ci hanno assegnato invece una unità al piano terra dicendo che non ce n'erano altre (ma controllando in Booking invece c'era disponibilità). A volte è mancata l'acqua calda e in 5 giorni nessun cambio asciugamani del bagno. 1 solo rotolo di carta igienica a disposizione nel bagno, e nemmeno era intero

Reservé en el alojamiento por una noche ya que en las fotos se ve muy bien la habitación y por el precio parecía todo correcto, pero al llegar entregaron una totalmente diferente. Un cuarto deteriorado sin decoración, con mal olor y no tenía toallas. Después de insistir con el arrendatario se hizo un cambio de habitación a una mejor sin embargo me parece muy poco ético que anuncien una unidad que no tiene nada que ver con lo que te presentan al llegar.

La grandeur de l appartement

Pas de réception, juste un contact wattsap… nous n avions pas de draps pour les enfants qui allaient dormir sur le canapé, personne pour nous les donner, on les a eu que le lendemain…piscine mal entretenue, terrasse et mobilier en sale état

Great hotel—large, aesthetic, and beautifully designed. The rooms are cozy, with a big TV featuring YouTube and Netflix. Many guests come here to work and relax at the same time. The pool is huge and cleaned daily, there’s a gym, and even washing machines. The location is a bit questionable—about a 17-minute walk to the nearest big store, and taxis often refuse to come here. There are no nearby cafés or restaurants, but the rooms have everything you need for cooking. The shower water is slightly salty. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and the Tulum beaches are amazing! You can walk to the town center, to a cenote, and we even walked to the nature reserve (about an hour along the road).
